Christina Putersbaugh makes her sweet pepper relish with her family in her Cleveland kitchen as Rust Belt Pepper Company. But instead of the Midwest, one taste will bring you straight to the Mediterranean. Hand seeded and fire roasted the same way her parents had done when they brought the recipe from Macedonia, their peppers are mixed with their own Roma tomato sauce, letting charred and honeyed notes intermingle in equal measure.
